Meet the Tutors

Gozi likes to tutor because she love helping children throughout middle school since it was hard for her. Gozi's hobbies include basketball, volleyball, drawing, and watching Marvel movies. A fun fact about Gozi is that she's once been to Nigeria: her family's home country. Gozi's tutored kids in science during her 8th grade year and she's been helping her sisters in school since forever.

Rachel wants to tutor because she understands what it is like to need help in school and not be able to get it. She would love to help other students in Guilford County, and will do well being a tutor since she love talking to people and is used to helping her siblings and younger cousins with their schoolwork. A fun fact about Rachel is that she loves to paint!

Morgan is a student at the Early College at Guilford. Morgan’s hobbies include reading, baking, painting and drawing. Morgan has a pet dog and loves all animals. She loves math and has always enjoyed helping her sister and other classmates with schoolwork. Morgan wants to tutor because she enjoys helping kids learn.

Kushi is a person excited to tutor everyone! She likes to draw and walk her dog in her spare time. She's tutored at Kernodle multiple times. She joined the Learning Helpline to make a greater impact in her community.

Celine is a student at Early College at Guilford who has tutored math 1 and English over the course of 2 years. She listens to music 24/7 and loves talking with kids & people in general. Tutoring is not only a great way to communicate with people, but also to use any previous knowledge and help other students out.

Rebekah is an student at the Early College at Guilford. She wants to tutor for Learning Helpline because she wants everyone to have opportunities and resources to learn and achieve more academically. Her favorite TV show is Criminal Minds and her favorite hobbies are painting and baking.
